Why Choose save office
Most companies in this business tell you how many addresses they have. That number doesn't tell you whether one of them will work for you. So we publish what does, and you can check it.
We went through business filings in California and Florida. In both states, about two out of three companies had the owner's home address in the public record, and many of them had paid a registered agent. We publish the USPS record for all seven of our own addresses too, including the two registered as mail receiving agencies. A company selling privacy should show its own first.
An address changes which address is public. Whether your name appears is set by your state's filing rules. We sell an address, not anonymity.
Three free checkers and 212 guides, all made here. When a rule changes we go back and correct the guide instead of leaving it up. Our address checker works on other companies' addresses as well as ours.
A bank or a state agency can turn down your application because of the address on it. The fine print in this business usually leaves that cost with you. We refund everything you paid for the address instead. And starting with Silicon Valley, we handle the mail ourselves.
If a government agency or bank denies your registration or account because of the address or documents we provided, email us the written denial letter within 30 days and we'll refund 100% of what you paid for that address.
Know what you're buying
“Virtual mailbox”, “virtual business address”, and “virtual office” are used interchangeably across the industry — but they are not the same product, and the difference shows up at the worst possible moment: when a bank or a state filing rejects your address. Here's how they actually differ. save office sells the middle one and the top one — pick by how much mail you want us to open for you.
A digital mailbox for you and your family. Mail arrives at a real street address, gets scanned, and you read it from your phone.
Worth checking: Usually built for personal mail. Many are mailbox-only addresses, which banks and state filings often turn down.
An address you can put on the business itself — mail in the company's name, and an address to register with.
Worth checking: “Address only” plans vary the most. Check that it's a real commercial street address, what a scan costs per item and whether there is a per-page fee on top, and whether the address is registered with USPS as a mail receiving agency, which you can look up before you buy. Ours: a real commercial street address in the city you choose, a photo of every envelope, and open & scan at $1.99 per piece, only when you ask, with no per-page fee.
Everything above, at a working commercial building, with meeting rooms when you need them. Providers in this tier often add a phone line, fax, or reception on top.
Why it costs more: It costs more than the two tiers above, and it should: this is the tier built for business filings and bank applications. No provider can promise that a particular bank will accept any address, and we don't. save office sells this tier too: Virtual Office includes the address, 60 incoming mail items and 60 scans a month, with a phone line, fax, and meeting-room booking as a $20/mo add-on.
And if it still doesn't work: 100% money-back guarantee
If a government agency or bank denies your registration or account because of the address or documents we provided, email us the written denial letter within 30 days and we'll refund 100% of what you paid for that address.

Our promises
Three things on this page can be verified without talking to us — the classification of our addresses, what our guarantee actually covers, and what the buildings look like.
Our free checker shows how USPS classifies any US address — including every one of ours. Run a competitor address through it too.
Open the address checkerIf a government agency or bank denies your registration or account because of the address or documents we provided, email us the written denial letter within 30 days and we'll refund 100% of what you paid for that address.
How the guarantee worksEvery address is a working office building, and the photos on this site are of those buildings. Browse them before you pick a city.
See every locationYour address is a real, staffed commercial building, and it goes live within 24 hours of sign-up. After that you can put it on your filings, your bank application, and your mail right away.
Three plans, open in Silicon Valley today with more cities coming. Virtual Business Address 30: $14.99/month, or $149.04/year ($12.42/mo billed yearly). Virtual Business Address 60: $19.99/month, or $198.96/year ($16.58/mo billed yearly). Virtual Office: $39.99/month, or $399/year ($33/mo billed yearly). Yearly plans save about 17%. No setup fee, no contract.
Shredding, a photo of every envelope, and free mail pickup are included on every plan, and junk mail doesn't count. Scanning depends on the plan: Virtual Office includes 60 incoming items a month with 60 scans included; Virtual Business Address 30 and 60 include 30 or 60 incoming items with open and scan at $1.99 per piece, only when you ask (no per-page fee). Forwarding is at carrier cost with no handling fee. No setup fee, no deposit.
On Virtual Business Address, no — that plan covers your address, the building, and mail handling. On Virtual Office you can add a phone line, fax, voicemail, and meeting-room booking at your building for $20 a month, with rooms at the hourly rate on site. If you need more, email hello@saveoffice.io and we'll tell you what we can arrange.
Yes. It's a real commercial street address you can use as your business address to register your company, apply for an EIN, and file with your state. One thing to know: every state also requires a registered agent with an address inside that state, and that's a different thing from your business address. We don't provide registered agent service, so you'll arrange that separately.
Yes. When mail arrives we scan the envelope and email you, usually within 24 hours. From your dashboard you can open and scan it, forward it, or shred it — so you never miss a time-sensitive letter.
Yes. Legal notices, court documents, and state or IRS mail all come to your address, and you're alerted the moment they land. One exception: official service of process — being formally served with a lawsuit — goes to your registered agent, not your business address. That's a separate role we don't provide, so you'll arrange a registered agent separately.
Most customers use their save office address for D-U-N-S registration and platform verifications like Apple Developer Organization, Amazon, Stripe, and Shopify. Since each platform checks a little differently, email hello@saveoffice.io if one has an unusual requirement and we'll share what we typically see.
That's a common request. Tell us who's asking and what they need, and we'll let you know what we can provide to back up your application.
The monthly plan is month-to-month with no minimum term — cancel whenever you want, no penalty. Yearly plans run for the year you've paid for, so if you'd like to cancel one, just get in touch and we'll walk you through it.
A P.O. Box is just a box at the post office, and banks and state agencies generally require a physical street address instead — so a P.O. Box usually won't work for a business registration or a bank application. Our addresses are real commercial street addresses in staffed buildings, and USPS classifies all seven as commercial.
Of course. Our addresses are real commercial buildings, and you can use one purely for personal mail — subscriptions, online orders, DMV paperwork, or anything you would rather not send to your home. You do not need a business to sign up.
Learn more about personal use →Yes. save office is built for founders outside the US as well as US residents — you can sign up from anywhere, with no SSN, ITIN, or US visit required. Your mail is scanned online and can be forwarded worldwide.
See if this fits your situation →Yes, for the filings you submit from now on. State business filings are public record, and whatever address you write on them gets indexed by search engines and copied by data-broker sites. If you use a save office address in those fields, the address that becomes public is a commercial building instead of your home. Two limits you should know upfront: filings you already made stay in state archives, and whether your name appears on a filing is set by your state's rules, not by the address. We sell an address, not anonymity.
How to live privately with an LLC →Set up in minutes. Your address is active within 24 hours.
